About this event
Join us this summer as we take you back to an RAF air base during the war. The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre will provide us with authentic backdrops, buildings and vehicles for our use which will include the control tower, ops room and bunk house (inside and outside) and vehicles such as the fuel bowser, crew bus, bomb trolleys & RAF motorbike. There will be a main focus on the people throughout the event and we will have a host of convincing re-enactors in both RAF and civilian outfits, re-enacting scenes that one would have seen on a 1940s air base. Included in the ticket price is the opportunity to visit the museum during the day at their normal opening hours.
This promises to be an enjoyable afternoon & early evening of period photography, with the opportunity for close up portraiture as well as wide angle scenes. The ticket price is slightly higher than usual as we are running this with a smaller group of photographers and to cover the cost of the museum and vehicle hire as well as the re-enactors.
Currently all of our events will run in line with our Covid-19 policy
that follows government guidelines. You can find our Covid-19 policy
